Goodwill is committed to helping people make the transition from unemployment or underemployment to competitive employment.. The Retail Operations Division plays an important role in that mission.
First, donations are processed by people who have been trained 
and placed through our programs. Second, most of the personnel in our stores are also program graduates. Your donations and shopping is directly instrumental in providing them with jobs.
But there’s more. The revenue derived from the retail operations funds the programs delivered by our Human Services Division. In a typical year our retail operation provides more than half of our total revenue and makes our mission – putting people to work – a reality. For the betterment of the individuals served. For the benefit of their families. And to improve the quality of life for everyone in Western New York.
