What We Do

Helping people train for, find, and keep good jobs is what Goodwill is all about.  It’s the motivation behind everything we do.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to earn wages and achieve their dreams. Goodwill’s programs and services help job seekers access the training and support they need. We assist people with all types of vocational barriers and challenges including individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.

At Goodwill, we believe that work is the key, essential factor in the ability of people to achieve desirable life outcomes. With it comes independence, pride, self-esteem, and sense of purpose. We give people, "a hand up, not a hand out."

Workforce Programs

Goodwill is a nonprofit provider of education, training, and career services for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment. We are committed to helping people make the transition from unemployment or underemployment to competitive employment. Our broad range of programs and supports serve a diverse set of individual and community needs.

Retail Stores & Donations

We operate conveniently located retail stores and attended donation centers throughout Western New York.  Committed to quality and customer satisfaction, our stores are well organized and offer exceptional value on gently used items. We also participate in Goodwill’s national online auction site shopgoodwill.com. Made possible by generous donations from the community, revenues are channeled back into job training and placement programs.
