These are unprecedented times; a time of great uncertainty and a new situation for us at Goodwill as well. At this time, it has become necessary to announce that for the health and well-being of our employees, donors, shoppers, program participants and community, we are temporarily closing our agency headquarters, retail stores and attended donation centers starting March 19th. We will continue to closely monitor COVID-19 and follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and our local health department. We will provide updates to this timeline on our website goodwillwny.org and our social media sites. We are all in this together. At a safe and appropriate time, we will resume our normal activities and work together to help people build skills, find jobs and grow their careers.
