By the end of 2024, thrift shoppers in Western New York will have an exciting new option for buying second hand clothing, housewares, electronics, and more. Goodwill of Western New York announced their plans to open an Outlet Store at 4255 McKinley Parkway in Hamburg in the form Walmart building most recently occupied by Worldwide Protective Products which closed earlier this year. The building will also serve as the organization's primary warehouse to support its future expansion.
The new Outlet Store, which is commonly referred to as a bin store, will offer items at a "per the pound" rate providing an more savings to their pricing structure. The nearest store of its kind is located more than 70 miles away in Rochester and has become a very popular trend on social media.
