Goodwill Grand Opening in Depew

Goodwill of Western New York announced the grand opening of its new retail store and donation center in Depew. The 12,000-square-foot space in Transit-French Square at 4790 Transit Road moves the store from across the street in the Transit-French Plaza and doubles the space of the current store.

The new retail store will feature the concept and layout that Goodwill has used in its recent store remodels including signage and displays that better represent the Goodwill brand and mission. Shopper reaction has been positive to the new design. In addition to the retail space, the new location will feature a drive up donation center conveniently located at the front of the store. One of the goals of the new design is to encourage donors to come inside the retail space to find new treasures.

“We’re really excited to open this brand new store and donation center,” said Eric Schwarz, Goodwill’s Vice President of Retail & Donated Goods. “We feel we’ve created a shopping and donation experience that is welcoming to everyone and also conveys the Goodwill mission. Donations and purchases help us change people’s lives through the power of work.”

The grand opening of the Depew location is slated for Thursday, July 19th beginning with a ribbon cutting at 9:00 am. All are invited.
