From WKBW-TV, Buffalo - Goodwill helped more than 30 people make ends meet on Saturday. They hosted a styling event at their West Seneca location to show how fun, community-driven and accessible secondhand shopping can be.

"We really wanted people to come in, get to see how much Goodwill offers from our textiles to our houseware section," Julia Jornsay-Silverberg of Goodwill said. "Also, help them to up their confidence and feel a little bit better when it comes to coming in store and picking out pieces that go together really well."

Thrift shopping has become more popular, especially in today's economy. And with the ongoing tariffs, the cost of things like clothing is expected to increase.

"I bought so many things, and it ended up being $62," Kristin Deiure said. "I was very excited about that, and I have countless new items."

Goodwill plans to continue these personalized sessions seasonally.
