Niagara Falls, NY — Goodwill of Western New York is proud to announce the presentation of $2,500 in Goodwill gift cards to Heart, Love & Soul, a non-profit organization addressing food and housing insecurity in Niagara Falls.
The gift cards will be distributed by Heart, Love & Soul to individuals in need of essential clothing and household goods—helping remove barriers to stability and employment. Through its intake and assessment process, the Heart, Love & Soul team connects individuals to housing resources within the Western New York Continuum of Care, a collaborative network that offers a full range of emergency, transitional, and permanent housing solutions for those experiencing homelessness.
This presentation was made possible by the generous support of donors and shoppers at Goodwill’s Niagara Falls retail store, whose everyday contributions help fuel programs that directly impact local communities.
The donation is part of Goodwill of Western New York’s “Goodwill Gives Back” initiative, a program designed to extend the organization’s 106-year-old mission of empowering individuals to achieve their fullest potential through the power of work. By partnering with nonprofit organizations like Heart, Love & Soul, Goodwill seeks to address critical barriers—such as food and housing instability—that can prevent individuals from obtaining and maintaining employment.
Heart, Love & Soul was selected as the recipient of this donation by the management and store associate team at Goodwill’s Niagara Falls location, reflecting the organization’s commitment to empowering local teams to support causes directly impacting their community.
“This initiative reflects the heart of our mission,” said Thomas Ulbrich, President and CEO of Goodwill of Western New York. “There are so many incredible nonprofit organizations doing vital work in the communities we serve. Enabling them to utilize our stores as a resource to support their mission is incredibly important, and together, we can create greater opportunities for individuals to thrive.”
Goodwill of Western New York remains dedicated to strengthening communities by working collaboratively with partners who share a commitment to helping individuals overcome challenges and achieve independence.
